Ten months ago, I first set foot on a high school campus. It gave me chills. Knowing that there will be more than what you expect was exciting yet scary at the same time. Compared to Hopwood, which was the previous shool that i attended, there were way more people, much more subjects to learn and the atmosphere was really different.
High school is so much harder than any other school. Epecially for the upcoming students. The original number of credits to earn in order to graduate was 24 credits. But as of this year, P.S.S raised up the credits to 28. Some advice to the future freshmen out there, do good the first and upcoming years. You wouldn't want to retake any courses.
Here are some of my guidelines. You may choose to follow:
1. Try your best.
2. Don't let any social life problems get in the way.
3. Don't do drugs in school!
4. Follow your school's regulations. (such as dress code)
5. Don't or try not to fail any classes.
At Saipan Southern High school, the school I attend now, I learn that there are no second chances. just keep trying or START trying as hard as you can. You may be having so much fun in High School, but don't get caught up in it. Don't do what you'll regret, but do the impossible!
